"Bret & Little Ann"

Bret has been training & working with hunting dogs for 26 years.  He started out training his own dog at the age of 12 with a couple of books he got from the library.  He soon learned what he would do differently for his next dog.  Then at the age of 16, he started training other people’s dogs for Hunting & Obedience.  He soon learned that he needed more guidance from other dog trainers, as the books no longer covered the depths of training that these dogs needed.  So, he started out as a bird boy for a few pro trainers and learned what he could from them and soon started apprenticing under another 5 pro trainers.  All the while he was taking in a few dogs per month to train on his own.  He then got interested in his first AKC hunt test in 1985 and has titled master, senior, and junior dogs.   His love for these dogs and what they do has never faltered through out his life and strives to teach each and every dog he trains that they are special & unique.
